A medium to large growing tree, perhaps reaching 15 20 meters at maturity, wide spreading to vase shaped in the crown. The tree really requires a humus rich, moist but well drained soil to perform well. It will tolerate neutral soil, but grows best in acid soils. Roots are very deep and strong. H5
